The Textile Technology Center can assist you in product development and sample production.  A wide variety of equipment is available especially in the area of yarn manufacturing.  From melt spinning of filament to carding, drawing, ring, open-end, air-jet, and vortex spinning of staple yarns, the Center has state of the are equipment.  Begin with as little as 30 pounds of fiber or an entire bale and produce a yarn while conducting standard testing along the way.
Yarn may be evaluated via knitting and/or weaving.  Develop a weave pattern for fabric construction.  Weaving design software is available.
